The Nurturey has been a staple in providing quality and affordable child care in Gaithersburg for over 20 years! We are an accredited child development center and licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE). All of our teachers are qualified and credentialed. We have an extensive curriculum that makes learning fun and prepares our little ones for Kindergarten in a loving, nurturing, and secure environment. Stop by for a tour today!

The Nurturey serves children ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age.

Tuition and Fees

Tuition

The Nurturey prides itself with quality care and education at an affordable cost. We are typically 40% less than our competitors! To get current tuition, please contact us via email or phone.

Discounts

We provide a 10% discount off for siblings – off the oldest child. Monthly accounts receive a 2% discount off the monthly total if tuition is paid on the first of the month (2% only applies to our full-time students)

Child Care Subsidy

The Nurturey accepts Maryland State Child Care Subsidy and Montgomery County Working Parent’s Assistance (WPA) to supplement the rates of our tuition.

Curriculum

The Nurturey uses the University of Maryland and the Maryland State Department of Education’s “Children Study Their World” curriculum in our preschool classrooms, and supplements it with “The Creative Curriculum” for our junior preschool programs.

Our dedicated staff fosters children’s exploration by allowing them to learn through play and providing opportunities to learn about the world around them and their place in it. The thematic units encourage investigation, problem-solving, and learning throughout the programs.
